The imagination is such a wonderful thing to use when playing the piano. You can ask your child to imagine that they are in a forest with big green trees.
1) Ask your child IMAGINE what it would sound like to play some trees on the piano.
2) PLAY a few tree sounds on the piano.
Walking through the forest they see a river. Then in your imagination your child can pretend to listen carefully to hear the sound of the water flowing by.
1) Ask your child to IMAGINE what it would like to play sounds like the river on the piano.
2) PLAY some sounds on the piano that sound like a river.
You can try to imagine any scene like the ocean, a beach, a castle or anything your imagination can come up with.
