Imagination and Piano Playing

The imagination is such a wonderful thing to use when playing the piano. Imagine that you are in a forest with big green trees. As you’re walking through the forest you see a river. When you play the piano can you imagine what it would sound like to play some trees on the piano. Try to play a few tree sounds on the piano or try to play the sound of the leaves blowing in the wind. Then in your imagination if you listen carefully you can hear the sound of the water flowing by. What would water flowing by sound like on the piano? Can you play a river on your piano? Or what about a fish swimming by? I think I want to play a fish jumping out of the water and coming down with a splash. Could you try to make a sound like that on your piano? Learn piano with Paisley the Panda:
